A New York Supreme Court judge has tossed out a lawsuit filed against the New York Law School by former students over alleged inflated graduate and job-rate statistics. The judge dismissed the lawsuit, saying “the school’s marketing materials weren’t misleading and that the students had ‘ample information’ from other sources about job prospects.” The judge also pointed to the recession that hit the county in 2008, having a particular effect on the legal market, which was beyond the control of the law schools.
