People with “pre-hypertension” – anyone diagnosed with a BP reading of 120 – to 139 over 80 to 89, has now been found to have a 55% increased risk of stroke.Pre-hypertension is now just as scary and important a health concern as being diagnosed with high blood pressure itself.
