So you “Google” a doctor and see glowing reviews and think…wow… he/she must be WONDERFUL! Think again. There is a company now that doctors hire to write some of these glowing but misleading doctor reviews by pretending to be real patients! They also devise forms that the doctors have all their patients sign that say the patients will NOT write any reviews about the doctor – good or bad – at all, any where, at any time! So when researching your doctor please be sure to go to credible sites such as the NJ Board of Medical Examiners or the hospital with which they are affiliated to see their staff profiles. Keep in mind that sites such as “rateMDs” and “yelp” and “vitals” and others are simply personal ratings written by REAL and/or fictitious patients, so don’t let that information weigh too heavily on your decision to see a doctor and whether or not he/she has the right credentials for you.If you, or someone you know, has been mistreated or misdiagnosed by a doctor, please contact our firm to discuss whether or not you have an actionable claim.
