Our partner Jack Gillick was proud to serve as a judge on May 24, 2017 for the Law Fair program run by the New Jersey State Bar Foundation.  Law Fair is a mock trial competition held for grades 3 to 6 in which students develop their own legal case, including facts and witnesses. The winners of the competition then come to the New Jersey Law Center and present a mock trial, following which the winning students and teachers are presented with a plaque.  Students from numerous schools also attended and served as “jurors” who got to deliberate and present their verdict.

Jack, who is a trustee for the Foundation, was proud to advise that over 300 students were in attendance and notes that the two winning schools were from Nutley and Lebanon, representing the 4^th and 6^th grades.
