Would you believe that there is a link from a good working relationship between nurses and hospital cleaning staff, and patient care?  According to a new study, a relationship between nurses and custodial staff that included  effective communication, a supportive environment that encourages staff to raise concerns, and a culture of respect and value, led to fewer infections and better patient safety.
