Eating Meat May Raise Colon Cancer Risk

January 12th, 2012 | Author: | Category: health news

Eating less processed and red meat will greatly reduce your risk of getting colon cancer. Getting a colonoscopy at age 50 will also help reduce your chance of getting colon cancer. Polyps can be detected and removed during this surgical procedure before becoming cancer. If you have a family history of colon cancer, earlier colonoscopy may be required than the recommended age of 50. If you, or someone you know, has been misdiagnosed with colon, or any other cancer, please contact our office to discuss your options.
