Recently named a “Rising Star” by New Jersey Monthly and Super Lawyers magazines for the third year in a row, partner John F. Gillick has successfully represented clients in dozens of trials in the areas of employment discrimination, personal injury, and civil rights. A one-time clerk for the Honorable Jack L. Lintner, former Presiding Judge of New Jersey’s Appellate Division, Mr. Gillick has successfully argued appeals before both the New Jersey Supreme Court and the United States Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and has been counsel of record on numerous published opinions.

Currently serving as Vice President for the Middlesex County Bar Foundation, Mr. Gillick is also a Trustee for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education, teaches continuing legal education courses on behalf of the Middlesex County Bar Association, and serves as a Volunteer Lawyer for Justice for the Legal Services Foundation of Essex County. Mr. Gillick also volunteers his time as Chairman for Project Law, an essay contest for Middlesex County high school students, collects holiday toys for Catholic Charities, and also collects for Hire Attire, a non-profit which provides used work clothes for those in need. Mr. Gillick is a member of the New Jersey, Middlesex County, New Brunswick and American Bar Associations.

Mr. Gillick received his Juris Doctor from Seton Hall University in 2001, where he was Articles Editor for the Legislative Journal, President of the Irish American Law Students Association, a Senator of the Student Bar Association, and an intern for the New Jersey State Assembly’s Democratic Office. As an undergraduate, he received dual Bachelor of Arts degrees from William Paterson University in English Literature and Secondary Education, where he was named Outstanding Senior and presented with a service award by the Catholic Campus Ministry.
